അലയാഴിയില്പ്പെട്ട ചെറുതോണിപോല്
ജലരേഖകള്പോലെ മോഹങ്ങളെന്നുള്ളില്
പലവുരുതെളിയുന്നു, മാഞ്ഞിടുന്നൂ.
ഒരുതരിവെട്ടമേകാനകലത്തൊരു
ചെറുതാരയൊളിമിന്നി നിന്നിരുന്നൂ
പറയുവാന്വയ്യാത്ത സാന്ത്വനമെന്നുമാ
കരുണാര്ദ്രമിഴികളില് കണ്ടിരുന്നൂ.
ദിശയറിയാതെ ഞാനുഴറവേ, മാനത്ത്
ശശിലേഖ തെളിയാതൊളിച്ച്നില്പ്പൂ.
അശരണനിവ,നൊഴിവാക്കുവാനാവാത്തൊ-
രശനിപാതംകാത്ത്, ഇവിടെനില്പ്പൂ..
